Incident Command System (ICS)
ICS is a robust tool and effective means of integrating many responders and resource types. While there are many sources for obtaining ICS training, ERI prides itself on offering this standard training in a format that emphasis practical applicability, coupled with relevant real-world examples. We offer ICS 100 through 400, plus 402 (ICS for executives) and section level workshops.
ICS 100 (Introduction) - presented in 3 to 4 hours, provides a solid first look at the ICS system and its components.
ICS 200 (Basic), presented in 1.5 – 2 days, provides a firm grounding in applying ICS for small responses and features multiple relevant table-top exercises.
ICS 300 (Intermediate), presented in 3 days, provides insight and practice in managing a large incident or event as planning for the next period.
ICS 400 (Advanced), presented in 2 days, provides tools and techniques for managing an involved incident where significant resources from other parts of the province or country are involved.
ICS 402 (for Executives), presented in 2 hours, is aimed at providing elected officials and organization executives an overview of ICS and their role.
