The often overlooked position in training programs is the team leader. It is he or she who is directly responsible to ensure the safety of the field team as well as its ability to achieve its assignment objectives set by management. Given the importance of this role to the success of a search, ERI has developed a two-day course and book designed to better help leaders lead and effectively “see sign” among their team members. There is a dynamic mix of hands-on field evolutions coupled with interactive lectures/discussions.
It is strongly recommended that all participants have at least 10 field SAR missions logged prior to enrolling in this program. Topics covered include, but aren’t limited to:
